** Deposition Sciences Inc , a wholly owned subsidiary of Lockheed Martin, has an opportunity for a motivated Materials and Process Engineer to support the Thin Film Coating Business The successful candidate will have the responsibilities listed below
Serve as the technical representative to generate a Customer Proposal
Collaborate with Program Management to create a Project Plan with Budget and Timeline Justification
Create New Thin Film Coating Design for Novel Customer Applications
Provide Technical Guidance to early career Engineers and Technicians
Order, Analyze, and interpret In Process Metrology Data to determine Process Adjustments
Lead Technical Discussions with Customers to develop requirements for new applications
Compare Metrology Data to Customer Specifications to evaluate Fitness for Use
Promote the culture of working in a collaborative Team Environment
Solve unusually complex technical problems and provide solutions which are highly innovative and ingenious

Expert in Thin Film coating Designs and Materials and Process Troubleshooting
Expertise in Sputtered Thin Films Design, Processes, and Equipment
Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
Experience Creating and Presenting Technical Content
Statistical Methods and Design of Experiments
Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications
Provide Technical Direction for Engineers leading their projects
Planning and Leading Projects to meet established requirements
Experience Operating Optical Spectrometer and interpreting the results

Programming experience and Visual Basic Macro Scripting or similar analysis software
Experience with Evaporated Thin Films and the equipment to produce these films
Advanced Degree in related technical field
Experience with SEM, XRF measurements and the interpretation of the results

** Pay Rate:
