Manufacturing Systems Engineer
Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Manufacturing Systems Engineer to work on-site with our client, a top-tier electronic test and measurement company.

ResponsibilitiesThis role is a hands on technical leader who partners closely with Operations, Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Planning/Supply Chain, and Business IT/OT to translate business demand into measurable improvements in throughput, cycle time, delivery predictability, metrics development, and cost. Responsibilities will include:
- Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement across a multi-site precision manufacturing network, identifying waste and improving process capability on the shop floor
- Build and maintain capacity models and scheduling logic that inform production planning, partnering with Planning/Supply Chain to identify mismatches in capacity and demand
- Develop Power BI dashboards and reporting tools that give Operations and leadership real-time visibility into throughput, cycle time, and delivery performance
- Work with Business IT/OT to ensure MES and shop floor data systems feed clean, reliable data into reporting and planning tools
- Lead root cause investigations and structured problem solving efforts, turning findings into standard work and measurable process improvements
- Develop and maintain SharePoint and Confluence pages to document processes, standard work, and operational procedures
This position requires an Industrial Engineer with the ability to translate data into insight and insight into action. Must have strong communication skills, the ability to work cross functionally, and comfort working in a fast paced, high mix production environment. Experience with any/all the following is highly desired:
- Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC, Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping)
- Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and shop floor data systems (Opcenter or similar)
- Power BI or similar data visualization and reporting tools
- Production scheduling and finite capacity planning (Preactor or similar APS tools)
- Capacity modeling and machine utilization analysis
- SQL or database querying for manufacturing data extraction
- ERP systems (Oracle or similar)
- Statistical analysis and root cause problem solving
- Time studies, work standards, and process documentation
- Leverage AI tools and Snowflake to support data analysis and reporting
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification a plus.
