About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Robotics Engineering Lead to drive end-to-end industrial automation projects. You will identify automation opportunities, design and deploy collaborative robots (cobots) and AMRs on the factory floor, and lead technical execution from simulation to production hand-off.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Automation: Identify opportunities, build business cases, and own full lifecycle deployments (concept, CAD/simulation, FAT/SAT, validation, and go-live).
  • Cobot & AMR Integration: Design, program, and integrate cobots (assembly, machine tending, inspection) and AMRs (material movement, route planning, fleet management) with existing factory systems.
  • Technical Leadership: Serve as the hands-on tech lead—setting design standards, conducting safety/risk assessments, and mentoring team members.
  • Vendor & Safety Management: Evaluate robotics vendors, manage pilot testing, and collaborate with safety teams to ensure ISO compliance (e.g., ISO 10218, ISO/TS 15066).
Qualifications
  • Education: BS, MS, or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, EE, ME, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3+ years in industrial automation/robotics deploying live systems in manufacturing.
  • Cobots & AMRs: Hands-on experience programming cobots (e.g., Universal Robots, vision, grippers) and deploying AMRs on the factory floor.
  • Tools & Simulation: Experience with offline programming/simulation tools for cell layout and cycle time validation.
  • Skill Mix: Strong blend of software and mechanical engineering with proven project leadership.
Bonus Skills
  • ROS / ROS 2, RoboDK, or Robot Studio (Digital Twin tools).
  • 2D/3D Machine Vision & CAD proficiency (Creo, Solid Works, AutoCAD).
  • Experience in precision / high-mix, low-volume manufacturing.
