Job Description
Join our fun, high-energy team as a Senior Home Lending Advisor in Chase Home Lending. Use your exceptional knowledge and understanding of home‑lending products to serve as customers' chief point of contact throughout the life of the loan, while the Home Lending team shares its expertise in this area of specialization. As a Senior Home Lending Advisor in Chase Home Lending, you will join a motivated team dedicated to guiding clients to fulfill the dream of home ownership.
- Coach and mentor the branch team by providing training on products and services.
- Work together with bankers, meet with their customers and introduce new clients to bankers for additional products and services.
- Collaborate with your team to create an outstanding customer experience by utilizing centrally managed direct mail, media advertisements, cross‑sell efforts, relocation programs, statement programs, , electronic newsletters, outbound lead sourcing, and other marketing efforts.
- Develop a strong partnership with the assigned retail branches to promote mortgage loan originations (in footprint territories), and function well within formal and dotted‑line reporting relationships.
- Build role as the internal and external mortgage expert and maintain good relationships with customers.
- Exhibit consultative skills to provide recommendations based on financial analysis, product knowledge, and the customer's financial needs, goals, and circumstances.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate.
- 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking.
- Knowledge of the real estate market in the local area.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines.
- FHA/VA sales experience.
- Marketing, promoting, relationship building, and consulting skills.
- Intermediate PC skills in a Windows environment.
This position is subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act, which requires a review of criminal conviction history. This position also is subject to Dodd‑Frank/Truth in Lending Act requirements for Loan Originators, which include a review of criminal conviction history, credit reports, NMLS information, and other relevant data. A felony conviction within the last seven years will disqualify you from consideration.
Continuation of employment will require ongoing compliance with Truth in Lending Act/Dodd‑Frank and SAFE Act requirements, including National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration and renewal.
