Respiratory Therapist (RT) – Skilled Nursing Facility

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our team at a well‑established Skilled Nursing Facility. The ideal candidate is patient‑focused, dependable, and experienced in providing respiratory care to subacute and long‑term care patients.
Position Summary:The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory care services in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and state regulations. This role supports patients with chronic and acute respiratory conditions in a post‑acute care setting.
Responsibilities:- Administer respiratory treatments (neb treatments, oxygen therapy, trach care, suctioning, etc.)
- Monitor and assess patient respiratory status
- Manage ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, and oxygen delivery systems
- Document treatments and patient responses accurately
- Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to optimize patient care
- Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory therapies as needed
- Current RT license in good standing (state‑specific)
- RRT or CRT accepted
- BLS required (ACLS preferred, if applicable)
- SNF, subacute, or long‑term care experience preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
