We are currently seeking a part-time Greeter to support our Visitor Center and Wine & Food Pairing experiences. This role blends guest engagement, organization, and wine education—ideal for someone who thrives in a people-forward environment and enjoys creating seamless, positive first impressions.
Position DetailsThis is a year-round, part-time, hourly, non-exempt position
, generally scheduled Thursday through Monday
, approximately 6–8 hours per shift
, with flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings as business demands.
- Pay Range: $19.00–$22.00 per hour, plus tips
- Schedule: Typically 5 days per week (part-time hours)
- Overtime: Occasionally required
- Greet guests promptly and professionally upon arrival at the Visitor Center.
- Check in guests using our reservation systems and manage guest flow throughout the tasting room.
- Escort guests to the appropriate location for their tasting or experience.
- Share the story of St. Francis Winery, including our history, wines, and winemaking techniques.
- Review available tasting experiences and Wine & Food Pairing options with guests.
- Answer questions and provide thoughtful recommendations to enhance each visit.
- Recommend and promote wines, wine club memberships, and merchandise in a natural, guest‑centric way.
- Assist with making reservations and staging seated experiences as needed.
- Help deliver wine purchases to guests’ vehicles when requested.
- Monitor guest needs prior to seating and throughout their visit.
- Help maintain the cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the tasting room.
- Restock wines and merchandise, assist with tagging merchandise, and support daily operations.
- Communicate any guest concerns or operational issues to Tasting Room leadership.
- Support winery policies, safety standards, and sustainability initiatives.
- Assist with special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.
