Overview
Looking for a dedicated M&A Integration Planning Lead supporting acquisitions and integration programs by aligning demand, supply, production, and material planning through process and training during business transitions. This role focuses on integration readiness, continuity of supply, planning process harmonization, and operational stabilization across acquired businesses and existing operations. The lead works cross-functionally with supply chain, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, finance, and integration teams to enable successful transitions, minimize disruption, and support scalable post-acquisition operations.
ResponsibilitiesIntegration and Demand Planning
- Develop transition demand assumptions and planning scenarios for acquired businesses and integration programs.
- Partner with product management, finance, and commercial teams to align forecasts during business transitions.
- Monitor forecast variability, planning gaps, and handoff risks that could affect integration readiness.
- Build and manage integrated production and supply plans that support acquisition transitions and site or product transfers.
- Coordinate material, capacity, and backlog planning to reduce disruption during integration milestones.
- Identify operational constraints, shortages, and continuity risks, and drive mitigation plans across functions.
- Support business stabilization efforts following acquisition close or transition cutover.
- Lead planning work streams for acquisition integration activities across transition phases, from discovery through operational handoff.
- Coordinate readiness for part transfers, supplier transitions, system migration inputs, and planning process alignment.
- Track cross-functional deliverables, milestone dependencies, and open risks affecting integration execution.
- Support integration checkpoint reviews and elevate supply chain, planning, or material readiness issues.
- Manage inventory strategy to support business continuity during acquisition transitions while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
- Drive buffer plans, safety stock decisions, and lifecycle actions for transferred or dual-sourced materials.
- Monitor long-lead, sole-source, and high-risk components that could affect integration timelines.
- Partner with procurement, engineering, manufacturing, finance, IT, and integration management teams to align transition activities.
- Drive resolution of supply-demand imbalances, process gaps, and ownership issues during integration.
- Support site consolidations, product transfers, and supply chain ramp or ramp-down activities tied to acquisitions.
- Support data integrity and planning governance across ERP and planning systems during integration and migration activities.
- Manage planning parameters, item and bill of materials alignment, and lead‑time readiness for transferred products.
- Generate reports and dashboards for integration risk, backlog, inventory, and transition readiness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain, planning, or manufacturing.
- Experience with MRP or ERP‑based planning systems.
