Custodian / Machine Operator (M‑F 6:00 am‑2:30 pm)

• Follow nightly, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules accurately and efficiently.
• Clean and supply designated building areas: dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom sanitization, etc.
• Notify management of deficiencies or needs for major repairs and perform minor repairs (fixing doors, sealing leaks, replacing light bulbs, etc.).
• Maintain outer premises by cleaning entrances and checking for litter.
• Assist in emergency cleanup when needed.
• Secure facilities after operating hours by locking doors, setting the alarm, and turning off all lights and lamps.
• Use and maintain assigned equipment: vacuums, brooms, mops, and other cleaning tools.
• Follow all safety instructions, including the use of chemicals and supplies as directed.
• Move furniture, equipment and supplies and use ladders when necessary.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a janitorial, cleaning or custodial role.
• Hand‑man experience or experience performing minor repairs.
• Self‑starter with the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Physically able to lift, bend, push, pull, grasp, crouch, walk and lift up to 50 lb; twist at the waist; raise arms above the head; and climb stairs.
