Overview

Keysight is looking for a highly motivated individual with desire to learn advanced machining skills. This position will require a Career level Machinist with a knack for precision and detail. In addition, you will interface with Engineering, Maintenance, and Management as well as production/NPI Schedulers.

The Precision Meso-scale Technology Center (PMTC) located on Keysight’s campus in Santa Rosa, CA exists to provide mechanical solutions that enable the capabilities of Keysight’s industry leading electronic measurement equipment.

Job Title: Machinist-Career

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours/week

Contract Duration: 23 months

• As a machinist you will develop and sustain machining processes utilizing cutting edge machine tools such as Swiss Style Lathes, Single and Multi-Turret Lathes, and 3 to 5 axis Milling centers.
• Work closely with R&D on microwave applications.
• You will influence designs for mechanical components and assemblies.
• Ensure design for manufacturability.
• Facilitate release and support production.

• CNC Programming/CAM Programming Software
• CAD/Solid Modeling
• Tool Grinding
• Interpreting specifications including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

• This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay someone for this position is $29.35/hour - $39.13/hour W-2.
