Job Opportunity – PACU / Pre-Op Registered Nurse – Northern California

Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Northern California

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Monday through Friday, primarily 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (occasional 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM shifts). No weekends, no holidays, no call.

Highlights:

• Acute care outpatient surgery center with a daily census of approximately 10 patients
• Cross-trained role covering Pre-Op, PACU Phase I, and Phase II Recovery
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Work-life balance with consistent weekday schedule and no weekend or holiday requirements
• Diverse patient population including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Varied surgical specialties including general, orthopedic, urology, ENT, ophthalmology, and more

Requirements:

• Active California RN license (pending license accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of PACU or Pre-Op/Post-Op experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Inpatient PACU experience required; ambulatory/outpatient experience strongly preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• First-time travelers welcome
• Must be willing to float to main PACU if needed
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within comparable specialty
