Job Opportunity – Outpatient PACU Nurse – Northern California

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Santa Rosa, California

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Monday through Friday, primarily 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM with occasional 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM shifts. No weekends, no holidays, no call required.

Highlights:

• Outpatient surgery setting with all patients discharged home same day
• Work-life balance: weekday schedule only with no weekend or holiday coverage
• Cross-trained role covering Preop, Phase I PACU, and Phase II Recovery
• Daily census of approximately 10 patients across 4 operating rooms
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Acute care facility with option to float to Main PACU as needed

Requirements:

• Active California RN license (pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of PACU or perioperative experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Experience with inpatient and ambulatory/outpatient settings
• Skills in procedural sedation administration and monitoring, post-anesthesia care, and preoperative assessment
• Ability to manage diverse patient populations including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty
• First-time travelers welcome
