Job Opportunity – PACU/Pre-Op Nurse – Northern California

Start Date: ASAP
Location: Santa Rosa, California
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Monday through Friday, primarily 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (occasionally 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM); no weekends, no holidays, no call

Highlights:

• Acute care facility specializing in outpatient surgical services
• Work with all patient age groups in a 4-room Pre-Op and PACU Phase I/II environment
• Epic charting system preferred
• Consistent weekday schedule with excellent work-life balance
• First-time travelers accepted; pending California license considered
• Daily census of approximately 10 patients; all go home same day

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Active California RN license (or pending)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Inpatient PACU experience required; ambulatory/outpatient and Phase I/II recovery strongly preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Must provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of comparable specialty experience within the last 3 years
• Willingness to float to main PACU if needed
