Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the LVN II is responsible for meeting the needs of our residents and supervising CNAs / Nurses Aids to ensure quality resident care. This part‑time (24 hours weekly) position at Spring Lake Village has a pay range of $43.06 – $48.00.
Detailed Responsibilities- Licensed Vocational Nurse II (SNF)
- Provides quality customer service to residents, families, co‑workers, and vendors
- Arrives to work on time in a clean uniform with good hygiene and nametag visible
- Coordinates and performs resident assessments and plan of care evaluations when appropriate
- Coordinates and performs needed treatments, medications, or other nursing interventions as indicated by the patient plan of care or ordered by a physician
- Ensures all emergency measures are followed per facility policy and nursing practice standards
- Maintains inventory of medical supplies and medications
- Ensures patient/resident rights are protected
- Maintains documentation required by federal and state regulations and company policy
- Performs duties safely, uses equipment correctly, follows safety protocols, wears safety equipment, reports hazards
- Follows highest standards of cleanliness and all federal, state, and corporate policies for food preparation and handling
- Attends all mandatory in‑service meetings and complies with department and facility policies
- Greets residents, personnel, vendors, and families at the clinic
- Answers incoming calls and responds to the emergency system
- Schedules in‑house doctor appointments, lab work, and transportation requests
- Coordinates needed treatments, medications, and nursing interventions
- Orders and tracks inventory for resident prescriptions, treatment room supplies, and office supplies
- Charts and maintains medical records
- Monitors fire alarms and dispatches 911
- Performs clerical duties to keep the area organized and efficient

- Employees must follow safe work habits to prevent injuries
- Understand, follow, support, and initiate policies and procedures of the facility
- Read, write, speak, and understand English
- Recognize emergency situations and respond appropriately
- Licensed Vocational Nurse – California
- First Aid certificate
- 2‑year college or technical school
- 1 year RN/LVN experience providing direct care
- 6 months term care, geriatric, and/or rehabilitative nursing
