Medical‑Surgical Oncology Floor (MS ONC) Santa Rosa, CA. The organization is seeking an Oncology RN for an outpatient oncology clinic supporting infusion services and related procedures. The role includes administering chemotherapy, managing ports and implanted/central lines, and monitoring patients receiving infusion therapies. Candidates must bring their license on the first day.
Job Details- Schedule:
Days; shift time options include 7:45 AM‑4:15 PM, 8:00 AM‑4:30 PM, 8:30 AM‑5:00 PM, or 9:30 AM‑6:00 PM. Minimum hours per week: 40. - Required Qualifications
:
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; oncology nursing certification (ONCC or ONS Chemo); familiarity with chemotherapy administration (continuous infusion, oral), monitoring, blood/blood products, port and central line care; ability to manage clinical scenarios such as ATLS, anaphylaxis, extravasation injury, hemorrhage, sepsis, spinal cord compression, neutropenic precautions; experience with Epic (preferred); minimum 1 year oncology or infusion outpatient experience. - Preferred Qualifications
:
Epic experience; familiarity with Alaris infusion pumps and CADD ambulatory pumps. - Additional:
Performs 6 infusions plus 12 port draws daily. Call not required. Float may be required among facilities in the state.
