Nurse Manager – Surgery at Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital Job Description

Provides an optimal practice environment that ensures the delivery of quality patient care. Responsible for planning, directing and managing the nursing care delivered to a designated patient population. Oversees the 24‑hour operation of the patient care unit with accountability for leadership, overall fiscal management, staffing, planning, organizing and controlling.
Role models proactive, collaborative working relationships across all hospital functions in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care. Develops programs, policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure patients' nursing care needs are assessed, evaluated and met.
Required Qualifications- California Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire
- 2 years of recent clinical experience
- Computer experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Specialty certificate based on unit
- 5 years of clinical experience
- 2 years of management experience
Pay range: $89.73 – $141.64 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
