Overview$35,000 hiring bonus and a competitive base salary plus monthly or quarterly bonus incentives. The position is based in Santa Rosa, CA, with regular Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. hours and no evenings or weekends. The role is vital to our patient care team, providing exceptional care to our patients and improving the health of America’s workforce.
Responsibilities- Examine patients, compile medical data, and conduct physical examinations.
- Administer or order diagnostic tests such as X-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests.
- Interpret diagnostic test results.
- Perform therapeutic procedures including injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
- Instruct patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens and health maintenance.
- Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist in continuity of care.
- Assist in developing and revising policies that affect medical practice judgment and quality of occupational health care.
- Assist in developing and presenting educational and instructional programs.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, clients, and peers while incorporating company values.
- Ensure accuracy in task completion, quality assurance checks, and documentation.
- Manage time, prioritize, and multi-task in a busy environment.
- Adapt to changing business needs, including scheduling and working additional or different hours when appropriate.
- Take action to support other areas and ensure an excellent patient experience.
- Seek opportunities for additional clinical training and self-development.
- Communicate effectively with patients, clients, supervisors, and peers.
- Listen to and understand internal and external client needs to act accordingly.
- Commit to personal excellence and accountability.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related health field from an accredited college or university.
- License in the state of practice.
- Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program.
- Board certification.
- Occupational medicine experience preferred; otherwise, qualified candidates will receive training.
- FMCSA NRCME prior to start date; CME provided for colleagues not already certified.
- DEA registration prior to start date.
- At least one year of experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or an emergency setting.
- Procedural proficiency is preferred (e.g., laceration repairs, suturing, foreign-body removal).
- Concentra core competencies: service mentality, attention to detail, sense of urgency, initiative, and flexibility.
- Strong decision-making skills using logic to propose quality solutions.
- Outstanding customer-service skills with tact and professionalism.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in compliance with HIPAA, PHI, and company policies.
- Knowledge of occupational medicine requirements and relevant state laws.
- Knowledge of laws and regulations governing rehabilitation services and worker’s compensation procedures.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to participate in Continuing Medical Education.
