Registered Nurse - Trauma/Ortho/Vascular
This is a 13-week contract position.
Day 3x12-Hour shift (11:00 AM - 11:00 PM). Night shift coverage may be required based on contract needs.
We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse with trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic experience due to the hospital's trauma status. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to handle various surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a trauma, vascular, and orthopedic surgical setting.
- Assist in managing post-operative care and complications.
- Participate in code response and other emergency situations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Accurately document patient care using the Epic charting system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- 2+ years of nursing experience required.
- Experience in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic cases preferred.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Current valid California RN License in hand is mandatory.
- Travel experience is required.
- Prior charge nurse experience is a plus.
