Registered Nurse - Trauma, Neuro, Vascular, Ortho
This is a 13-week contract position.
Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15, with possible weekend coverage.
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic specialties. The ideal candidate will be prepared to cover one night shift within their contract schedule as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in acute settings.
- Collaborate with surgical teams in trauma and orthopedic procedures.
- Respond to emergencies and participate in trauma team activations.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Epic charting.
- Participate in on-call rotations, with equal distribution of shifts among staff.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic settings.
- Current California RN License.
- BLS certification required.
- Previous charge experience preferred.
