Operating Room Registered Nurse – Trauma

Licensure:
Valid RN license in hand (pending licenses NOT accepted).

Certifications:

BLS required. Years of experience: 2-3 years of clinical experience in trauma, neuro, vascular, ortho. EMR:
Epic required. Clinical skills: OR RN experience with trauma cases, ortho/total joints, spine/neurosurgery, vascular procedures, robotic-assisted surgery, general and GU/GYN cases; familiarity with trauma protocols and universal time-out.

Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting, ensuring patient safety and adherence to trauma protocols. Collaborate with the surgical team to facilitate optimal patient outcomes during procedures. Administer medications and monitor vital signs during surgical operations. Assist in maintaining sterile environments and managing surgical instruments and supplies. Educate patients and their families regarding perioperative care and recovery processes. Document chronicled patient information and care accurately in the electronic medical record system.

Include RTO at time of submission; SSN and DOB required for compliance packet. References: 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years (can include Charge RN/Lead). Holidays:
Must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). Local rules: 50-mile radius applies; locals accepted (may be at lower bill rate). Return-staff policy: 3 months to return as traveler. Pending license:
