Restorative Nursing Assistant II

Summary:

Under the direction of Director of Nursing and the Charge Nurse, performs nursing in the areas of range of motion, ambulation, application of splints and use of assistive devices. Assists the physical, occupational and speech therapists to carry out doctor ordered plans of care. Will typically provide care to a greater number of residents with higher acuity than RNAI and will typically provide supervision to other staff and act as a “lead”.

Competencies and skills:

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written and oral instructions
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
• Ability read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
• Ability write simple correspondence

Spring Lake Village

Pay Range: $27.64 - $32.00

Education with Equivalent

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED

Experience with Equivalent

Qualifications:

• 0 Year with knowledge of State and Federal regulations
• 0 Year long term care, geriatric and/or rehabilitative nurse
