Registered Nurse Emergency Room

$2413.24/week -

Job Summary:

The Emergency Room RN is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced ED environment. They evaluate, coordinate, and deliver comprehensive nursing care, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout their stay.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients upon arrival and continuously monitor their condition to identify immediate needs.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans.
• Administer treatments, medications, and interventions according to established protocols.
• Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, and post-discharge care.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed electronic health records.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications:

• Valid CA RN license with active emergency room experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications from AHA.
• Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience.
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient advocacy skills.
• Ability to work night shifts, including every other weekend rotation.
