American Traveler is hiring a NICU RN for a night-shift position requiring Level III NICU experience, NRP certification, and weekend and on-call availability.
Requirements- Active CA RN license required
- Current BLS and NRP certifications required
- Level III NICU experience required
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Active, unencumbered professional license required at time of consideration
- Work in the Neonatal ICU of an acute care hospital with 277 staffed beds
- Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 19:00 to 07:00
- Weekend shifts required
- On‑call requirements apply
- Facility may call off up to 1 shift per 2 weeks
- Travelers expected to float between all facilities within the state
- Charting completed in Epic
- Provide skilled nursing care to neonatal ICU patients
- Scrub color requirement: royal blue or navy blue for RNs
- Free parking available on site
- Local candidates are not accepted for this position
- RTO must be submitted at time of consideration and will be approved based on facility needs
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Travel pairs are not accepted for this assignment
