American Traveler is hiring a NICU RN for a night-shift position requiring Level III NICU experience, NRP certification, and weekend and on-call availability.

• Work in the Neonatal ICU of an acute care hospital with 277 staffed beds
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 19:00 to 07:00
• Weekend shifts required
• On-call requirements apply
• Facility may call off up to 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Travelers expected to float between all facilities within the state
• Charting completed in Epic

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Level III NICU experience required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Active, unencumbered professional license required at time of consideration

• Provide skilled nursing care to neonatal ICU patients
• Scrub color requirement: royal blue or navy blue for RNs
• Free parking available on site
• Local candidates are not accepted for this position
• RTO must be submitted at time of consideration and will be approved based on facility needs
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Travel pairs are not accepted for this assignment
