Quality Technician

Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Quality Technician to work with our client in Santa Rosa, CA. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mechanical inspection of precision machined components.
• CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine, Optical and Touch Probe), Interferometry, Laser Micrometer, and other advanced metrology equipment.
• Calibrations of metrology equipment.
• Corrective and Preventive Action support in relation to Non-Conformance Reports with thorough documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Interpreting mechanical specifications including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Work experience in a QC and manufacturing environment is essential.
• Strong PC skills (MS Windows/Office including Excel and Outlook)
• Preferred:
  Lean, Corrective and Preventive Action, root cause investigation, Kaizen (continuous improvement-PDCA) knowledge and understanding
• Preferred: ISO 9001 and AS9100
