The company is seeking a Senior Laboratory Technician to support analytical testing operations in a fast-paced laboratory environment. This position is responsible for reviewing analytical data, processing laboratory results, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures. The ideal candidate has a strong chemistry background, analytical laboratory experience, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read, understand, and follow established Standard Operating Procedures for laboratory testing
  • Verify sample identification and confirm the accuracy of sample sequences for each testing batch
  • Process instrument-generated analytical data and prepare accurate laboratory reports
  • Perform first-level review of analytical data generated from Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry and Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrometry testing
  • Upload or transcribe laboratory results into the Laboratory Information System for final review
  • Maintain accurate Chain of Custody documentation for all laboratory batches
  • Communicate testing issues and operational concerns promptly to supervisors
  • Support laboratory safety initiatives and maintain a clean, organized work environment
  • Follow quality standards while handling biological specimens, chemicals, laboratory equipment, and analytical instruments
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry
    , Analytical Chemistry
    , or a related scientific discipline
  • At least one year of experience working in an analytical laboratory
  • Experience following Standard Operating Procedures and laboratory quality processes
  • Ability to analyze laboratory data accurately and maintain detailed documentation
  • Familiarity with laboratory instruments and analytical testing techniques
  • Ability to safely work with biological specimens, chemicals, and laboratory equipment
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication skills
  • Ability to work the third shift schedule
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Laboratory Information Systems
  • Knowledge of Chain of Custody procedures in a regulated laboratory environment
