KR is accepting applications for experienced Unarmed Security Officers to provide unarmed patrol security services at the Charles M. Schulz – Sonoma County Airport.

• Maintain order and security, remain professional, courteous, and respectful.
• Arrive on time, fully outfitted, and ready for duty.
• Adhere to customer policy and maintain confidential data.
• Assist in inspection of interior and exterior of building.
• Complete building inspection report.
• Patrol halls throughout buildings.
• Monitor for suspicious items or activities.
• Respond to calls for assistance as needed.
• Provide breaks/relief to security staff.
• Monitor parking lot and employee entrance/exit.
• Complete daily logbook entry.
• Ensure the safekeeping of all keys, access cards, fobs, and codes.

• 18 years of age.
• High school graduate or equivalent certificate.
• Current and active driver’s license.
• One year of experience in security or law enforcement work.
• California security guard license.
• Fingerprint based Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) and Security Threat Assessment (STA) per TSA regulations.
• Background check with no clear criminal record; not on probation; no convictions for domestic violence.
• Maintain an Airport Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) at all times.
• Fluently speak, read, comprehend, and write coherent reports in English; pass English language assessment test.
• Read and apply printed rules and directions.
• Stand, walk, run and climb stairs for the duration of a shift.

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required).

• California Unarmed Guard Card (Required).

This position reports to the Security Manager. The role includes full and part‑time shifts: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and weekends.
