** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

+ Monitor entry points, visitor traffic, and/or credential checks in support of site protocols, while communicating clearly with staff and guests regarding security-related procedures.

+ Support incident reporting, shift activity logs, and/or communication with local responders when needed, while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Possess 6 months or more of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

+ Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.

+ A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
