Position SummaryAs a specialty crew technici an at Advanced IPM, you will be the face of our company, providing the highest level of professionalism and ethics. The right candidate is receptive to feedback and is committed to continuous learning. They must be responsible, reliable and well organized. The key responsibilities include:
- Analyze reports and diagrams of infested areas and determine appropriate repair methods as a skilled home repair carpenter.
- Make problem-solving decisions based on report discrepancies and additional findings.
- Ensure all jobs are completed professionally and meet specifications.
- Maintain company-issued equipment and vehicle in a clean condition at all times.
- Familiarize yourself with all types of wood-destroying organisms, their damage, and effective control methods.
- Understand bed bugs, their harborage areas, and effective control strategies.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding job statuses as needed.
- Work hours are from 7 am to 5 pm, with a Saturday rotation; additional hours may be required based on departmental needs.
- You will be required to obtain an applicators license from the Structural Pest Control board within 60 days of employment. We can assist in preparing for the licensing process and will cover the cost of taking the test the first time as well as the licensing fee once the test is passed.
