Hansel Ford Lincoln is excited to announce the opening of our new Fleet Center Department in Santa Rosa, and we are looking for skilled Fleet Technicians to help launch and grow this exciting new operation!
The Fleet Technician is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing fleet vehicles to ensure maximum safety, reliability, and uptime. Utilizing state‑of‑the‑art equipment, tools, and training, Fleet Technicians perform preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of commercial and fleet vehicles. Working as part of our outstanding service team, the Fleet Technician helps deliver exceptional service and support to our fleet customers.
PayRange
$33.80–$55.00 hourly, plus bonus pay plans are also available, depending on experience, certifications, and skills.

- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and performance‑related concerns
- Identify necessary repairs and maintenance services
- Accurately estimate repair needs and document findings
- Complete repairs and maintenance according to manufacturer and fleet standards
- Perform safety inspections and ensure vehicles meet operational requirements
- Document all services, repairs, and maintenance performed
- Maintain accurate repair orders and fleet maintenance records
- Work efficiently to minimize fleet vehicle downtime
- Follow dealership, manufacturer, and fleet service guidelines
- Collaborate effectively with service advisors, dispatchers, and fellow technicians
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment
- Participate in required training and certification programs
- Record all hours worked accurately in the company timekeeping system
- Follow Safeguards rules and regulations
- Comply with company policies and procedures
- Observe all Federal, State, Local, and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties
- Experience as an automotive, diesel, medium‑duty, heavy‑duty, or fleet technician
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to perform repairs and maintenance with a high level of workmanship
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs preferred
- ASE certifications are a plus
- Must be reliable, punctual, and safety‑focused
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must pass a drug test
- Must pass a background check
- Clean and valid California driver’s license required

For a productive/bonus‑based pay plan the Technician Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $33.80. The position may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.
