Position Summary
Lind Marine is seeking motivated and safety-conscious Entry-Level Electricians (L1) to join our electrical team. This hands-on position supports the safe handling, maintenance, and operation of electrical equipment in dynamic field environments, including marine, dockside, and land-based sites. The ideal candidate is physically fit, safety-minded, and eager to learn under the guidance of experienced journeymen and supervisors.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the safe handling and installation of electrical equipment including cables, load centers, spider boxes, and portable lighting.
Support the maintenance and repair of various electrical systems under direct supervision.
Identify and report potential hazards to journeyman or supervisor.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
Monitor environmental and weather conditions to ensure a safe working environment.
Complete and pass an electrical safety course to become an Electrically Safe Qualified Person.
Follow all safety procedures and report any unsafe conditions immediately.
Lift and transport up to 50 lbs. as needed.
Available to work overtime and weekends if needed.
Qualifications
Strong commitment to safety and hazard awareness.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
Basic familiarity with electrical tools and equipment is a plus.
Physically capable of working in outdoor and marine environments, including on floating platforms and in variable weather conditions.
Must be able to work in confined spaces, at heights, and on uneven terrain.
Successful completion of electrical safety training required.
