HVAC Install Lead

Moore Home Services, a leading residential HVAC and plumbing contractor in Northern California, is seeking an HVAC Install Lead to oversee high-quality residential system installations. In this role, you'll lead a small crew, ensure code-compliant installs, verify system performance, and deliver customer-first service in occupied homes. You'll mentor junior installers, uphold strict safety standards, and coordinate with office and warehouse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation of residential HVAC systems according to code and manufacturer specs
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and verify performance of new installs
• Train and mentor junior installers and helpers on best practices and safety
• Communicate clearly with homeowners about work scope, options, and maintenance
• Ensure jobs are completed on time, accurately documented, and passed inspections
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and adhere to company and OSHA safety standards
• Coordinate with dispatch and warehouse on schedules, materials, and equipment
• Perform quality checks and correct deficiencies before job closeout
