$62,244– $68,652 with opportunities for 5% increases annually

Job Description

We are looking for a Social Services Case Manager to join our dedicated team of Service Coordinators. In this role you will be responsible for managing the delivery of services to regional center clients, including those with intensive physical or emotional needs, ensuring our clients’ Individual Program Plans and objectives are pursued.

Responsibilities

Our Social Services Case Managers/Service Coordinators are responsible for using person‑centered planning to assist clients in accessing public and private resources before using regional center funds to purchase services.

  • Monitoring vendor services and verifying that services are delivered in accordance with the purchase of service authorizations.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of clients’ Individual Program Plans; ensuring that appropriate community resources are made available to the client.
  • Conducting annual reassessments of clients’ developmental status in conjunction with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Conducting client assessments on an occasional basis.
Requirements

To qualify for the Social Services Case Manager role you must enjoy working with clients and assisting people with developmental disabilities. Additional requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to developmental disabilities (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Special Education, Nursing). Minimum education requirement may not be waived.
  • Master’s Degree preferred.
  • 3 years’ experience working with individuals with developmental disability.
  • Bilingual language ability (Spanish to English) is required.
Remote Work Policy

All employment at NBRC requires face‑to‑face, in‑person interactions with clients, family members, community, and co‑workers. Candidates must live within commuting distance to their preferred NBRC office and the geographical location of their assigned clients. While 100% remote work is not available, a hybrid arrangement may be available after demonstrating performance for at least 3 months of in‑office work.
