Warehouse Equipment Receiving Specialist
Responsible for receiving, inspecting, documenting, storing, and moving inbound commercial kitchen equipment, including large and heavy equipment components, and related merchandise while maintaining inventory accuracy and warehouse organization. This role supports receiving operations through accurate data entry, discrepancy reporting, inventory control, records management, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage receipt of inbound commercial kitchen equipment
- Deconsolidation and re-palletization of heavy equipment inventory
- Over, Short, Damage Processing (OS&D)
- Data Entry
- Warehouse cleaning and organization
- Bill of Lading verification
- Physical inspection of freight
Qualifications
- Education Required:
High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) - Education Preferred:
- Experience
Required:
Previous receiving and warehouse experience. Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, records management. Data entry. - Experience Preferred:
Logistics or distribution center operations, warehouse receiving or inventory control, inventory discrepancy reporting, working knowledge of SAP. Bilingual. - Licenses/Certifications
Required:
Ability to obtain certification to operate forklifts and material handling equipment. - Licenses/Certifications Preferred:
Forklift Certified
Skills and Abilities:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to read and interpret packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documents. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers, coworkers, and leaders.
