Parks & Grounds Maintenance I Or II
Santaquin City is accepting applications for a full-time Parks & Grounds Maintenance I or II. This position performs a variety of entry level to working level skilled field maintenance duties associated with maintenance of parks, parks strips, detention basins, cemetery, trails, various fields and facilities used for sponsored recreational programs and other landscaped areas throughout the city.
Parks & Grounds Maintenance I
- Graduation from high school; sufficient experience to demonstrate an aptitude to perform the above-related duties. Must possess a valid Utah Driver's License, required to obtain a Utah Commercial Driver's License, class B (CDL) within 1 year of hire date. Must live within 30 minutes travel time from Santaquin and be available and willing to work weekends, holiday, on-call, standby and emergency call.
Salary Range – $19.89 to $28.30 per hour. Starting wage depends on qualifications & experience.
Parks & Grounds Maintenance II
- Graduation from high school; two (2) years of experience in landscaping maintenance or related duties. Must possess a valid Utah Commercial Driver's License, class B (CDL). Must possess a Utah State Pesticide Applicators License. Must live within 30 minutes travel time from Santaquin and be available and willing to work weekends, holiday, on-call, standby and emergency call. Salary Range – $20.97 to $29.88 per hour.
Starting wage depends on qualifications.
