OverviewServes as the President's right hand, operating with a high degree of autonomy to drive cross-functional initiatives, align departments, and ensure organizational priorities are executed effectively. This role requires an exceptional self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can independently identify needs, solve problems, and move the business forward.
Responsibilities- Drive continuous improvement in production, safety, quality, and delivery.
- Develop supervisors, improve communication, raise accountability, and support retention of all staff.
- Collaborate with all departments to resolve constraints & improve throughput.
- Create & Monitor KPIs and prepare performance reports for leadership.
- Independently research and implement a solution
- Point person for urgent customer requests, changes, and issues
- Document workflows, create SOP’s, train the team, and audit execution
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO 9001 standards, and safety regulations (OSHA/Cal-OSHA).
- 7+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, preferably as a Plant Manager or General Manager in a manufacturing environment.
- References are required
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, safety, and quality systems.
- Proven track record of leading teams and improving performance; must provide references.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Intermediate-Advanced computer skills (Office, Excel, ERP/MRP systems, production tracking software).
- Leadership & Team Building – able to inspire, coach, and motivate diverse teams.
- Communication Skills – bilingual, clear communicator across the shop floor and leadership.
- Adaptability – comfortable in a fast-paced, custom manufacturing environment.
- Problem-Solving – hands-on approach to resolving production and workflow challenges.
- Collaboration – works closely with operations, quality, and safety for continuous improvement.
- Accountability & Integrity – sets the standard for safety, reliability, and quality.
- Competitive salary range: $150,000 – $200,000 annually (depending on experience).
