Responsibilities- Develop and refine complex CNC programs for 3-axis and 5-axis mill/turn equipment to maximize production efficiency.
- Utilize advanced CAM software to create robust toolpaths and optimize cycle times for high-precision manufacturing.
- Design innovative work-holding fixtures and custom tooling to support seamless production setups.
- Perform manual G-code editing and verification to ensure machine performance meets rigorous quality standards.
- Generate comprehensive setup documentation to streamline the transition from prototype to full-scale production.
- Apply deep knowledge of GD&T to solve tolerance challenges and maintain strict dimensional accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot machining processes and improve overall manufacturing throughput.
- Minimum of 5 years in a precision machining environment with at least 2 years focused on programming.
- Advanced proficiency in multi-axis CNC programming and G-code optimization.
- Strong technical grasp of GD&T principles and complex tolerance stack-ups.
- Demonstrated success in high-precision manufacturing environments.
- Ability to meet ITAR compliance requirements as a U.S. Person.
- Technical degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.
- Extensive background in aerospace or turbine component production.
- Experience with advanced machine simulation software and digital manufacturing workflows.
