Pay
The starting pay range for this position per hour is $24.75 – $26.75. The full pay range for this position per hour is $24.75 – $42.05. Pay is based on several factors that vary by location, including labor markets, education, work experience and certifications.
ResponsibilitiesAs Food Service Team Leader you will maintain a consistent, fresh, and accurately priced Guest experience on the sales floor. You will plan daily and weekly workloads to support business priorities and deliver department and store sales goals. You will lead, interview, train, coach, evaluate, retain, and develop a team of hourly associates. You will oversee food safety, inventory accuracy, production and merchandising standards throughout the Food & Beverage area, including Starbucks and Pizza Hut brand zones when applicable.
You will monitor financial and guest metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and align the team on correct behaviors and execution. You will manage inventory, order placement, and perishable inventory procedures to keep store in stock and profitable. Additionally, you will support safety, compliance, security and emergency procedures, assist in guest services such as checkout, order pick up, and drive‑up, and perform other store duties as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- Previous retail experience preferred, but not required
- Strong interest and knowledge of the food service business
- Leadership skills: ability to interview, train, coach, evaluate, hold team members accountable, and develop talent
- Communicate using multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology
- Work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
- Remain focused, composed, and productive in a fast‑paced environment
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members
- Effective communication skills
- Food Safety Manager Certification required; completion of Starbucks and/or Pizza Hut brand training and certifications when applicable
- Physical ability to lift up to 44 pounds, climb ladders, and work in refrigeration or freezer temperatures
- Flexible with a variable schedule that may include nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times
- Ability to work in environments with refrigeration, freezer temperatures, and varying humidity and temperature conditions
- Responsibility for handling cash register operations and compliance duties as needed
