WhatYou'll Do
- Conduct in-home consultations to diagnose electrical issues and identify the right solutions
- Guide homeowners through clear, option-based pricing (Good / Better / Best) to support confident decisions
- Close work ethically by aligning solutions with customer needs—not pressure tactics
- Create accurate job scopes and documentation to ensure smooth handoffs to install teams
- Maintain consistent follow-through using company systems, pricing tools, and sales processes
- Occasionally complete minor diagnostic or corrective tasks when appropriate
- Consistently achieve strong close rates and healthy average job values
- Deliver a professional, trust-building customer experience in every home
- Produce clean, accurate job documentation with minimal rework or clarification needed
- Enable install teams to execute efficiently through clear scoping and communication
- Demonstrate ongoing improvement in communication, estimating accuracy, and sales performance
- Licensed journeyman electrician
- Strong diagnostic ability with the confidence to explain findings clearly to homeowners
- Professional, respectful communication style in customer environments
- Interest in transitioning from heavy install work to advising and estimating
- A belief that effective selling is rooted in education, clarity, and trust
- $85,000–$150,000+ annual earning potential
