Job Description:

Position:
Half-time (20 hours a week; flexible with summer and school year programs)

Purpose:

Discipling children from birth through 5th grade.

Basic Qualifications:

· Christian faith and character
· Positive “can do” spirit
· Team player
· Ability to maintain confidentiality.
· Excellent written/verbal, organizational, and supervisory skills.
· Ability to relate to and work with children and adults—this requires a creative and energetic person.

Basic Duties
· Oversee Sunday School through grade 5, including nursery staff, teacher recruitment, , scheduling, and curriculum selection.
· Coordinate Children’s Message and Children’s Church during worship.
· Coordinate and oversee the midweek children’s program.
· Coordinate Vacation training, Bible School, and children’s camps.
· Plan and coordinate seasonal and occasional fellowship events for children.
· Attend staff meetings and establish agreed office hours.
· Implement the Safe Sanctuaries policy.
