Summer Manufacturing Engineering Intern

The PLTW internship program is a unique initiative designed to equip future engineers and plant leaders within Ardagh Glass Packaging with the experiences and skills needed for successful careers in manufacturing. It offers hands‑on glass manufacturing experience, providing a solid foundation in glass composition and production processes, including technical, quality, and safety skills.

• Participate in project assignments that lay a strong foundation for future careers in manufacturing, helping members become familiar with glass manufacturing operations.
• Become assimilated into the Ardagh Glass Packaging organization by participating in a comprehensive orientation program.
• Be assigned to a mentor within Ardagh Glass Packaging.
• Be exposed to and work on special projects (approximately 50% of the workload) to help the plants meet goals and leverage learning from experience.
• Present an end‑of‑internship summary to the Ardagh Glass Packaging executive leadership team.

• High school diploma.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to complete a 3‑month internship from May to August 2026.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.6 or higher.

• Completion of PLTW coursework.
• Ambition to pursue a career in the manufacturing industry.
• Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hearing and eye protection, steel‑toe boots, and other required PPE.
• Willingness to travel to the corporate office (Fishers, IN) for the final week.
• Compliance with FDA regulations established by OSHA and the company.
