Cindy Yee Kong, author of The Eyes of the Lion, founded Grace Animal Rehabilitation Center Inc. to rescue and rehome overpopulated stray cats in her community. Her love for domesticated animals began when she was comforted by a rescue kitten during a trying time.
Responsibilities- Research available grants that meet the needs of a small but dedicated animal rescue. A passion for helping pets is a big plus!
- Write and submit grant proposals, meeting granters’ deadlines.
- Ensure that all grant proposals get prior approval from the CEO before submittal.
