Aveanna Healthcare is seeking Registered Nurses to provide skilled nursing care in patient homes. This role includes coordination of care, documentation, and education of patients and families.

• Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
• Observe and assess patient conditions, report changes as appropriate.
• Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care timely.
• Develop, implement, and update nursing care plans.
• Take appropriate nursing action based on assessment and achieve expected outcomes.
• Implement interventions to prevent or reduce risks.
• Comply with Aveanna policies, state/federal regulations, and the Nurse Practice Act.
• Utilize infection control measures per OSHA standards.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes, self‑care, and prevention.
• Participate in continuing education and internal learning programs.

• Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification (hands‑on component).
• Tuberculosis skin test within last 12 months.
• Six months prior hands‑on nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation.

• South Carolina: 1 year of pediatrics experience.
• California: 1 year of experience under the current nursing license.
• Louisiana: 1 year of experience as a licensed nurse.
• Continuing Education as required by state.

• Medical Oncology RN: 2 years of RN experience with cardiac monitoring and oncology experience.
• Ambulatory RN: 2 years of experience with vital assessment, plan of care development, and telephone triage.
• Medical Surgical RN: 2 years of RN experience.
• Peri‑Operative Care RN: 2 years of RN experience, preferably with oncology experience.

• 6 months of recent experience as a licensed nurse in a clinical care setting.
• Home health experience.

• Organization and communication skills.

• Speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Travel ability.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Prolonged walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting.
• Climb stairs, sit.
• Visual and hearing acuity.
• Strong sense of smell and touch.
• Reposition patients and move equipment without assistance.
• Appropriate response to emergency situations in the home or during transport.
• Ability to function in various environments, including exposure to allergens, blood, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases.
