Class A CDL Driver needed for local deliveries of metal roofing panels and components to job sites operating flatbed trucks with piggybacks.

• Safe Transportation:
  
  Safely operate a Class A CDL tractor-trailer, primarily using flatbeds to transport metal roofing, panels, and trim.
• Loading/Unloading:
  
  Secure loads and help unload materials at job sites, which may involve heavy lifting.
• Customer Service:
  
  Act as the face of the company, interacting professionally with customers, contractors, and job site personnel.
• Compliance:
  
  Adhere to all DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.
• Vehicle Maintenance:
  
  Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any safety concerns or maintenance needs.
• Documentation:
  
  Complete logs, invoices, and delivery paperwork, including using phone systems to take photos of deliveries.
• Schedule:
  
  Typically local, day-shift hours, allowing for home-every-night consistency.

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Minimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a DOT physical/drug screen.
• Ability to physically manage the unloading of metal products.

• Office and field-based role with possible travel to contractor sites,customer locations, and other Dixie/Baker locations.
• Occasional lifting of samples or materials (up to 100 lbs.)
• Must be comfortable in a construction environment and wear appropriate PPE when needed.

• Computer proficiency with familiarity or ability to quickly learn
  
  GeoTab or other software.
• Understanding of roofing products and/or construction materials/ language.

• Home daily / Local routes.
• Monday
  - Friday schedule – guaranteed 50-55 hours weekly.
