We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to join a well-established luxury residential construction company specializing in custom homes and high-end renovations. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on construction professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional homes for discerning clients. Unlike production homebuilding, every project is unique. You'll work closely with project managers, trade partners, vendors, and clients to procure materials and services for one-of-a-kind custom homes and luxury renovations.

• Manage purchasing activities for multiple custom home and renovation projects from start to finish.
• Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing while maintaining quality and project schedules.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with trusted trade partners and vendors.
• Review construction plans, specifications, and budgets to ensure accurate purchasing.
• Coordinate material procurement and subcontractor commitments to support project timelines.
• Track purchasing budgets and assist with cost control throughout construction.
• Work closely with project managers, field teams, designers, and clients to support project execution.
• Maintain organized purchasing documentation and project records.
• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes and vendor performance.

• 5+ years of purchasing experience within residential construction.
• Experience with custom homes, luxury residential construction, or high-end renovations strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, subcontractor scopes, and procurement processes.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient with construction management software (Buildertrend experience is a plus).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
