Job Title: Customer Service Representative / Service & Install Coordinator

Pay: $20-23/hour
Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative / Service & Install Coordinator to support our telecom and low-voltage operations. This role serves as the primary point of contact between customers, technicians, and internal teams-coordinating service calls, installations, and project schedules while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate is organized, calm under pressure, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities

Customer & Client Support
  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers regarding service requests, installations, scheduling, and updates
  • Answer inbound calls, emails, and service tickets professionally and efficiently
  • Set expectations with customers on timelines, scope of work, and next steps
Service & Install Coordination
  • Schedule service calls and installations for field technicians and subcontractors
  • Coordinate daily and weekly technician schedules to maximize efficiency
  • Dispatch technicians and provide real-time support as issues arise
  • Track job status from open to close, ensuring proper documentation
Operational & Administrative Support
  • Create, update, and close work orders in CRM or service management systems
  • Verify job details, site readiness, and materials prior to dispatch
  • Communicate changes, delays, or issues to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate records of service history, notes, and customer communications
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with sales, project managers, and technicians to ensure smooth handoffs
  • Escalate technical or customer issues as needed and assist with resolution
  • Support billing accuracy by confirming job completion and service details
Qualifications

Required
  • 1-3 years of experience in customer service, dispatch, or coordination (telecom, low-voltage, construction, or field services preferred)
  • Strong communication skills (phone, email, and written)
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Comfortable working with CRM, ticketing, or scheduling software
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
  • Experience in telecom, low-voltage, IT, security, AV, or structured cabling
  • Familiarity with service dispatching or field technician coordination
  • Basic understanding of installations, service calls, and job workflows
