Front Desk Agent

We are looking for a highly organized candidate with excellent people skills for the position of Front Desk Agent.

The Front Desk Agent serves as the first point of contact for guests, delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming resort experience. This role is responsible for managing guest check-in and check-out processes, handling reservations, and addressing guest inquiries with efficiency and professionalism. The Front Desk Agent ensures that all guest interactions reflect the resort's standards of hospitality and contributes to a positive and memorable stay.

Working in a fast-paced resort environment, the Front Desk Agent coordinates with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs, resolve concerns promptly, and maintain smooth daily operations. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a customer-focused attitude are essential to success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting guests upon arrival and making them feel welcome
  • Recognizing repeat, VIP status and/or loyalty
  • Administering check-ins and check-outs
  • Providing front desk services to guests
  • Assigning rooms and taking care of administrative duties
  • Delivering mail and messages
  • Processing guest payments
  • Coordinating with bell service and staff management
  • Being a source of information to guests on various matters such as transport and restaurant advice
  • Accommodating general and unique requests
  • Diffusing conflict or tense situations with guests, handling guest opportunities

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Conflict resolution experience
  • Patience and good listening skills
  • Bi-Lingual a plus
