Interventional Pain Management Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and patient-focused Interventional Pain Management Physician to join a growing and well-supported practice in Sarasota, FL. This is an excellent opportunity for a fellowship-trained physician who is comfortable with advanced interventional techniques and values a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to chronic pain care.
This role offers a predictable weekday schedule with limited call and a strong procedural focus in a well-equipped outpatient setting.
Position Overview
The physician will evaluate and manage patients with chronic pain conditions, perform advanced interventional procedures, and work closely with a coordinated care team to deliver comprehensive, individualized treatment plans.
Schedule
Monday through Friday
8:00 AM 5:00 PM
After-hours, off-site call approximately once every 4 6 weeks
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with acute and chronic pain conditions
Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
Perform minimally invasive procedures, including:
• Nerve blocks
• Epidural steroid injections
• Radio frequency ablation
Evaluate and treat appropriate candidates for:
• Neuromodulation
• Intrathecal pump procedures
• Implantable pain devices
Collaborate with physical therapists, primary care providers, and specialists to optimize outcomes
Educate patients on diagnoses, procedures, and long-term management strategies
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation
Stay current with advancements in interventional pain techniques
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school (or equivalent foreign degree)
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology, Pain Medicine, or PM&R
Completed accredited Pain Management fellowship
Active Florida medical license (or eligibility)
Proficiency in advanced interventional and implant procedures
Strong communication and team collaboration skills
