Assistant Professor

The Baldwin Group School of Risk Management and Insurance at the Muma College of Business, University of South Florida, invites applications for the tenure-track position of Assistant Professor of Risk Management and Insurance. The school operates on all three campuses of USF (Tampa, St. Petersburg, Sarasota-Manatee). This position will be housed in the Muma College of Business on Tampa campus.

The Baldwin Group School of Risk Management and Insurance is one of two programs in the State of Florida to offer degree programs in risk management and insurance and is one of the few named schools of risk management and insurance in the country. In addition to strong financial support from industry, the school also benefits from the support of an experienced and active Risk Advisory Council.

The current hiring plan reflects the ongoing commitment of the University of South Florida to support the school as it pursues the overarching goal of being a leading program in risk management and insurance. Our objectives are to educate and support the development of the next generation of talented risk management and insurance professionals, to produce high-quality research that informs public policy and the academic literature, and to serve consumers, the risk management and insurance industry in the Tampa Bay region, and the State of Florida through the dissemination of information related to risk and its management.
