Teaching Assistant

The Teaching Assistant will be responsible for preparing and cleaning the studios before and after classes as well as assisting the professor and students during the class.

Teaching Assistant:

• Provide guidance to students
• Class/lab work, grade quizzes, set up experiments, take down experiments hold office hours, hold problem solving sessions
• Assisting faculty with classroom instruction, records, and assignments
• Lead student discussion sections
• Meeting with students during office hours
• Conferencing with students individually or in small groups
• Delivering lectures and guest lectures
• Grading assignments or papers
• Managing course communications
• Preparing laboratory materials
• Recording and calculating grades

Laboratory Assistant:

• Enforcing laboratory rules and procedures
• Taking attendance and monitoring participation
• Obtaining and distributing course materials
• Ordering course textbooks and monitoring supply
• Conduct research for the professor
• Keeping student records

Other duties as assigned
