Capital Project Manager
Sarasota County Government is looking for a Capital Project Manager to join their team. This position offers a competitive salary range of $42,452.80 - $75,379.20 annually and is located at 1001 Sarasota Center Boulevard, Sarasota, FL.
The Capital Projects department completed 15 Capital Improvement Projects in FY19 for a total of $70 million including 5 Utility projects, 4 Facilities/Parks Projects and 6 Transportation projects. Annually they manage an average of 123 projects ($380 million).
This position involves directing the planning, design, review and/or construction of transportation projects in the Capital Improvement Program as assigned. The role also includes managing professional services contracts and performing various tasks related to project management.
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Project Management or related field. Project experience can substitute for education on a year-for-year basis depending on the type of experience.
